He was an absolute fucking disaster of a signing, paid at the time top money, and he was fucking shit. But for some reason we've got idiot fans who take to some players for some unknown reason.

He wasn't good enough getting forward as a right back, he looked better there because any errors weren't always punished with a goal. For me he had his best games on the right side of a back three when we played wingbacks.

Between he, ‘Raggy Doll’ Dailly and ‘Calamity’ James, in the 2003 relegation side, we hade an absolute kamikaze defence.
However, I thought he improved once he was moved to right back from central defence. I liked him but he was a bit of a liability at times, but not more of a liability than Dailly, who often f****d up with his Fred Karno style of defending.

A particularly annoying pattern to his playing was this: an opposition player would knock the ball past Repka, but too far, and another defender would pick up the ball, negating the danger.
Meanwhile, Repka fouled the opposion player for daring to try something like that...
Could've been a far better player if he wasn't nuts.
